Ice Climbing West Virginia Style!

“Best ice in years” is the consensus of the local ice climbing cognoscenti. Talking about ice climbing cognoscenti here in West Virginia is something of an oxymoron, but we ain’t skeered.  A prolonged period of frigid weather has created ideal conditions for ice routes to proliferate throughout the New River Gorge and surrounding area.  In this video Kenny and crew explore some routes at the Long Point area of Summersville Lake.  Get some pointers from Jon “The Brit” Fowler.  Meet Stella the Dog, expedition leader.  Check out the cool Rab outerwear that Kenny is product testing.  Thumbs up on the jacket:  “More breathable than Gore-tex”  says Kenny.  Got questions about the ice climbing around here?  Call:  304-574-2425
